"I loved staying at The Dunvegan. First of all, the staff was outstanding. They were friendly and responsive. The hotel was clean, and my room was kept in prime condition. The breakfasts were yummy, and one night I ate in and the fish and chips were the best I've had. The hotel was central, so I could walk everywhere with ease. If I return to St. Andrews, The Dunvegan will be my first choice of where to stay. Thank you!"

"Small rooms with a good shower. Guest house is unmanned and had to go to nearby hotel to pay for the stay. The grap-and-go breakfast was a few bars, but there are plenty of great places nearby serving breakfast. "

"We had a lovely stay at The Bank. Room was at the back with a cracking view and was nice and quiet. Breakfast was amazing too, I had smoked haddock both days. Only gave 3 stars for condition as bathroom door handle was loose, shower head was loose and fell down in the holder and there was only one hand towel. Long haired folks need a separate towel for their hair. Apart from this the room was spotless. Tea, coffee and water provided, will definitely stay again."

"Great location and setting for a short stay in Fife. Staff were helpful with extra requests for a young family. Delicious food from the restaurant and full breakfast next morning. Room was spacious and well equipped with comfortable beds, fast wifi, fridge and TV etc."

We appreciated the supplied teabags, sachets of coffee, soap, towels etc. The deposit system was a bit confusing - I expected to see a £250 payment on my card to be followed by a refund, but it seems they just held the card details "in case" so I guess no charge will be made now, after over a week. "The place was spotless and had everything that we needed. It was nicely furnished and modern. However the beds are quite small. We would have preferred to sacrifice a bit of bedroom space for a bigger bed. It is centrally located and close to the harbour. We enjoyed our stay. "
