"We made a spur of the moment decision to travel to Devonport (from Hobart) so that we could then go to Cradle Mountain, after the overnight stay. The room we stayed in (2 x queen bed, port view) was very comfortable and great value ($181 per night). The only thing slightly annoying was the lack of car parking options close to the hotel, we reluctantly paid a $25 concierge fee, at least the car was secure. Overall, we would recommend. "Checked in for only one night. Catherine at reception was very helpful and cheerful. Stayed in a spa suite which was clean and spacious enough. Super comfortable King bed. Air con working nicely. Complimentary bottled water was appreciated. Excellent location for business or pleasure with free parking out back and easy access to room."

"A nicely refurbished pub that offers all the comforts of a well considered accommodation option in an ideal location. Shame about the bar noise, but this did come to an end offering a quiet night’s sleep. Climate control in the room was excellent."

"After a long drive from Strahan it was such a delight to get to our room at the Masden. Had a front room with a view of the water. The room was modern, clean and comfortable with some added extras like a spa bath and microwave. Easy access, lots of street parking and little cafes to eat at close by. "
