With the exception of arranging a driver for us to go have dinner in town (he literally never came and also they were looking to charge 4 times as much as an Uber which is outrageous) was good and attentive. In room dinner was cute and so was breakfast but hard to get their waiters attention. All in all, a nice & cozy Stellenbosch stay."

"This hotel is a fantastic base for a visit to the wine region. The hotel is a short drive from Franschhoek with the hotel providing an excellent shuttle bus service. The staff could not be any more friendly or obliging if they tried and we really felt at home here. The only gripe is that the pool beds are not that comfortable but otherwise this a hotel I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again."

"Very welcoming, pleasant and made staying easy because they covered the issues that most travellers to a country would like to know or experience. There were specific little touches in our room that stood out. The welcoming message and of course the delicious wine and view from our room. Also noted was their consideration for environmental issues. I don’t explore the cape fully but will Come back to Lovane again given the opportunity. Thank you. I will enjoy the wines I brought back to London. "
