"I would recommend this hotel for the price but there are some flaws. It is very dated and does not look fresh. The rooms are better than the lobby. My check in was not the smoothest but not why I would give this hotel bad marks. My disappointment lies completely with the bad service, information and horrible attitude I got from the concierge. I don't know his name but he was completely incompetent, did not know the city at all and even gave me wrong information. He did not even kn ow the museums...

The location is excellent, right by local transport, the beautiful Antwerp Central Station, and within easy reach of shops and restaurants. The reception area is also a nice touch, with cozy seating for relaxing or chatting, and even a balcony for enjoying a coffee. The only drawback is the bathroom setup. There’s no towel rail, which makes it tricky when reusing towels, as the hotel doesn’t provide daily...

"The Hoxton is GORGEOUS! The rooms were so very cool, very art deco. Service was fantastic. The restaurant was delicious. They make their own hot sauce and I wanted to buy it by the case. The only concern I have is that the location is just outside Brussell’s red light district. It is a short walk from the train station to the hotel, but you have to walk through a pretty scary neighborhood to get there. "

"Perfect location for walking to the sights or catching public transit. Front desk staff was oriented and very kind and helpful. Despite food menu at the bar area I was told there is no food available (there is a nice cafe for breakfast) so drinks but no food to go with. Nice room - very well appointed with plenty of towels!!
