Gave some suggestions and feed back to the general manager who was very appreciative of the constructive feed back. Passion of the staff to serve customers is unparalleled and trickles down from the leadership of Debarya, who seems to talk about the resort like it's his baby. Doma in dining room, authentic Nepalese...

"The hotel was beautiful, an old colonial atmosphere in a very comfortable setting, with great views of Kalimpong. Staff were very attentive and the Indian food in the restaurant was excellent. This was our second visit to the hotel, which we fully recommend and look forward to returning for future trips. "

"Room too cold. Cant be adequately heated. Staff refused to give 2nd key to keep heater on . Cockroaches in dining area/table. Staff ignored when cockroaches were pointed out. "

That made it a negative experience overall, as it made me late for my morning appointment. "

"Quiet, clean, attentive staff, and lovely - certainly more upscale than we Expected. The only small downside, is that this property is not currently properly located on Google Maps which will send you in another direction so call the property then ask them to pick you up or to give you directions for the driver. Other than this small glitch, highly recommend it."
