"Very friendly receptionist on check-in. She noticed my wife was not very steady on her feet, so changed our room to an accessible room in an annex on the ground floor. The evening meal in the 20 du Domaine bistro restaurant was great value and they prepared a special vegetarian main course for me. "After having read a number of negative reviews about this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. I stayed in one of the nice renovated rooms. The hotel was in a lovely location close to the castle. The service was good and staff helpful. My only small complaint is there was no shower gel in my room nor milk for tea/coffee."

"Wonderful service. Very professional and caring team starting with the hotel manager, front desk, restaurant team, and general management. We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely want to come back. I wish they would offer room service after 10pm. There are no dining options in the area and the hotel restaurant stop service at 9:30-10pm. "
