"The Lodge at Uxmal is a special place just outside the entrance to the archeological site so ideal for staying at to see the sound and light show at night. The room was comfortable and clean with nice bedding and the place is set amongst trees so there are abundant birds and nature all around. Really lovely. It also has a very nice restaurant so is a great place to base exploring the Ruta Puuc from."

"The Mayan style of cabins added atmosphere. The grounds were well maintained with greenery and flowers. The pool was clean and the grounds provided a comfortable place to relax or have a snack. The restaurant's food was the best we had in the Yucatan. Our waiters were attentive and efficient. Our room was comfortable although the toilet button sometimes got stuck, so we had to be mindful of not having the toilet run. The owners was wonderful and offered suggestions and recommendations.
