"I had a terrific two night stay in this small , beautiful hotel . I really liked the location of it , easy to get to from the station and right in the historic city . The style and comfort of the room was fantastic !! "

"This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in."

"Hotel São Bento is a beautiful hotel in a great location near Peneda-Gerês national park. Everyone at the hotel were very friendly, kind, and helped us in English to address our limited Portuguese vocabulary. The restaurant was delicious as well, and the nearby park has amazing viewpoints (miradouros), waterfalls (cascatas) and hiking. We would definitely come back and stay at this hotel again."
