"Lovely room. Nice view. Always boats moving past. Good food and bar. Really nice staff. Decent spa and pool. Very good free parking. Our room didn’t have air conditioning but that wasn’t a problem for us. Lovely walks for many miles alongside the canal and river. "

"Our second visit here, because we enjoyed it so much the first time. Balcony room leads out to a nice well-maintained space. Bathroom has an excellent shower, bed is comfortable and sizeable. Easy walking distance to the town centre, and a couple of excellent restaurants and pubs close by. Only slight downsides are that a bath would be nice, and even though there is a substantial breakfast buffet there is no facility for other meals or room service."

"The room was great - clean with comfortable bed and bedding. I found all the staff very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast. Lots of choices, all fresh, including cereal, muesli, fresh fruit, selection of breads, eggs and bacon, cold cuts and cheeses. Also a nice selection of teas and coffee/espresso. "Great stay for a night enroute to UK from Sweden. A meal in the hotel restaurant/beer garden was a bonus. Convenient access from motorway and easy parking. Ticked all boxes. "
