"Arrived very tired having struggled to find it due to road closures. booked on here, no one at the hotel to welcome usas explained on our booking paperwork. Rang and got through to an English speaking person who cycled down to us to show us in and let us park the motorcycle in the locked garage. "The room was clean and efficient, loved the heated bathroom floors The church bells tolling in the morning were delightful. The staff was busy but always made time to answer questions with a smile. The restaurant was very very good and the breakfast was a delightful private table with a generous variety of bread, rolls, fruits, yogurts, eggs and meats. "Our second visit here, because we enjoyed it so much the first time. Balcony room leads out to a nice well-maintained space. Bathroom has an excellent shower, bed is comfortable and sizeable. Easy walking distance to the town centre, and a couple of excellent restaurants and pubs close by. Only slight downsides are that a bath would be nice, and even though there is a substantial breakfast buffet there is no facility for other meals or room service."
