Staff incredible, elevator a lil bit of a bother, so many people love the roof top bar especially on the weekend, but honestly factoring in all the other great things about this hotel, I will not be bothered by having to wait a lil bit for a lift. "The Astor Hotel is a great place to lodge while visiting Athens. I traveled alone from the states and found the staff hospitable, hotel clean, bed comfortable, great location access to train, bus, sightseeing, walking etc., in the center of the active city, close to SYNTAGMA square, near an assortment of eateries and dining, nearby retail shopping, phenomenal roof top view and dining, amazing breakfast buffet, modern and cool bar and decor. Excellent! My only gripe is the half glass partition...
