"The Elia is a modern hotel in an excellent location. Lots of dining and shopping options surround the hotel and it's a relatively short walk (1/2 mile?) to the Acropolis and Agora archeological sites. The rooftop restaurant has clear amazing views of the Acropolis, and the food was excellent. Only complaint was the "club" type music the restaurant started playing while we ate (too loud, too high energy). The breakfast is also excellent with many many hot and cold options. Our room was very modern, excellent shower, and offered a view of the Acropolis. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful, for example arranging taxis for us both upon arrival at the cruise pier and departure (yesterday!). A great place to stay in Athens."
