"We had a great time at Bahia Principe Grand Samana. We liked that the resort is small and intimate, food was decent for an all-inclusive and staff was friendly. Resort is a bit old but well maintained and clean overall. On the other end, we found the beach being rather small, not enough chairs and palapas for all guests, and very close to the road causing noise. We would return and recommend to friends and family looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation."

Food at the buffet was good to excellent most of the time. It was a challenge to make a reservation in one of the al-la-carte restaurants so we didn't visit any of them.
