There was some refurbishment going on in the reception area at the time of our visit, these were undertaken during daytime hours when guests were out and so not a real inconvenience. Lovely grounds and despite it only being 9th Feb the woodlands and grounds were overed in snowdrops indicating Spring is not far away. At this time of year we stayed ahead of season and there were not too many people here.
