"El Conquistador is HUGE! It is beautiful. Things I loved: The water park, Palomino Island, the swim up pool bar, the spa, the rooftop bar, the daily, varying activities-day & night. Things I did not like: Service, food took long to come. Over priced. The many areas of the resort also range in quality. We had a standard room in Las Brisas, which seems to be an older not recently renovated area of the resort. The room was clean, had a beautiful ocean view and was spacious for our family of 3. However, there was no fan or ventilation in the bathroom there was a musty smell from the towels or something/somewhere. The doors banged and many people did not respect closing the doors softly especially at night or early in the morning. Walls were thin and I could hear loud and clear/word for word conversations in the room next door so much so I thought people were standing outside our door talking and I opened the door to tell them to be quiet to discover it was the next room and I was hearing it through the walls. There was also a large chunk of the wall out outside our door on the pillar between our room and the one next door. Finally, I will add the cost of dining was over the top expensive! And the food was good, not great, and not worth the cost of what they were charging. For example a main fish dish of scallops was $68.00. A meat dish was $120.00. These are fine dining, Capital Grille prices and the quality of what we received was not equivalent to the cost. "

"Our family had an amazing time here. Very family friendly. Pools were awesome, beach was beautiful. Staff was wonderful, very accommodating and quick to help. Restaurants were awesome. Our villa was beautiful. Nothing bad to say about this resort, highly recommend. "

"Staff was very friendly and accommodating, pools were great especially the swim up bar. The beach on property was gorgeous but not swimmable while we were there (heavy winds) and I’m not sure if it swimmable but it’s a nice place to relax. Food options on property had amazing food and the room was beautiful and clean. "

"The place is a bit off the beat and track, but our room was more than I expected. It was quite nice. We only stayed for a night before taking a ferry to Culebra, but they have very nice grounds and pools to take advantage of if you stay a while. Coffee and a few breakfast items available at the smoothie shop on the property."
