"This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room itself was dirty—stained bed sheets, no duvet - just a thin sheet, plugs falling off the walls with exposed wiring, clumps of dust and towels that were old and fraying at the edges. There wasn’t even a bottle of water in the room. The worst part? They gave us a room that was already occupied by another guest. "First, this is not a 4 star hotel not even closed to a motel. Even its name is not Lake Wind Hotel but Lake Wind Resort. There is no services whatsoever, and room is at horrible condition. Can’t believe I paid $100 usd for this crap. Checked out the pics with direct water and half dead cockroach in our room. Thank you hotels.com for listing this as a 4 star - I won’t trust your filter anymore. This is the worth place among all my stays in 4/5 hotels in Sri Lanka. Avoid at all costs!!!"
