"Hotel was perfectly centred in the square of Torres vedras, lovely service and with a beautiful view to the castle from our balcony room…. However… the only thing that was sort of a let down and very annoying was the room we stayed in had a shower door facing the toilet seat and you could open about 30cm of that shower door to get in and out of the shower. Obviously an architectural / design error. Make sure to check the doors first when you check in… "

"The hotel is in an excellent location, right inside the castle wall. You could easily walk to stores and restaurants. If you want there are many entrances where you can climb the wall. The only con is that cars are not allowed to come to the hotel making it a bit difficult to unload your luggage especially in the rain. However everyone at the hotel goes above and beyond. "Walked up from the train station. Beautiful location. Initially confused as to where lobby/ check-in is located because of so many Pousada Vila Obidos signs, but once we located the proper entrance, our experience could not have been better. Pedro is an excellent employee, giving us suggestions, answering questions, seeing us walking along the street and ensuring we were doing well later in the day. Walking along the top of the wall is so fun and you must try a ginja!"

"The hotel is in an excellent location, close to shops and restaurants. Our room was quite comfortable, except for the bed being a little too low but we definitely had a good nights sleep. The breakfast was very good, eggs and bacon to order and a lot of other choices. The only thing that I would let other travellers know is that there are stairs, not many."

"The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and really nice. Loved the balcony. The only complaint I have is that the wall separating the bathroom from the room was glass and not private enough. When I opened the light to go to washroom in the middle of the night it lit up part of the room where one of the beds was located waking up my daughter who was sleeping. Just an impractical design."
