"This small hotel in the center of town, near the bus station was the perfect place for a short stay in Caldas da Rainha. Reception staff were wonderful at checkin and the room was well-maintained and spacious. The breakfast buffet was included with our stay and was quite generous with a selection of fruit, pastries, cereal, toast, juice, and even English breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, and beans. We would absolutely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone!"

"Last minute booking in Obidos - a quaint walled town. Pleased to have been able to stay within the walls and miss most tourists at the end and beginning of the day. Walked the walls, had great views. Charming atmosphere. Had to park out of the town, but still very convenient and easier like that. Guillermo (?spelling) at reception was very pleasant and helpful. "It was an amazing find! It felt so peaceful and relaxing! They have a beautiful orchard with goats! The property was pristine and had beautiful antiques throughout! They are a 5 th generation family business! Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome! As a bonus they have espresso, tea, fruit, and cookies out all the time. You feel like you are home!!! Guests are welcome to bring food in and eat in the common dining area. This place was a treasure! We will definitely be back!"

"Beautiful Portuguese Casa with lovely garden, pool, and breakfast/rec room. Amazing collections of various items on display everywhere you look. The hostess. Ari, was wonderful and so very helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Rio Maior is only an hour or so from Lisbon and so much more relaxing to stay and enjoy the surrounding sites. Would definitely recommend Casa do Foral. They pay attention to details and will make your stay so very enjoyable. "
