"What a lovely hotel! The most comfortable seating in public spaces and comfortable beds/pillows. Rooms are compact but perfect for being a tourist — who hangs out in hotel rooms? Right in the center of this darling town full of incredibly kind and welcoming people. They could not have been nicer or more helpful at the hotel. Friends who live in cortona halftime recommended it and we understand why! Beautifully appointed, perfect location. "

"We were initially uncertain about booking here due to some negative online comments; however, very happy we did! it would be difficult to pristinely maintain the property as it is historic and quite large, so if you’re looking for something with every modern amenity, this is not the stay for you. However, the property is a gorgeous setting and the buildings are quaint and charming. Our room was very spacious - a bit of noise transfer through the bathroom. Pool area is beautiful! Great breakfast with tons of selection. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location to easily access Cortona. "
