"Hotel is a little dated and tired looking and the corridors smell musty. The price isn't too bad for what you get. Room was ok but unfortunately we were on the ground floor which faced onto the courtyard, there was a wedding on that night and the guests use the courtyard until 10pm and the function room is opposite so my bedroom was a bit noisy. The bed was fairly comfortable, shower was hot and the bathroom clean. The carpark is a good size but if there is a function on it's much harder to...

"Lovely old, characterful hotel with a spa and fitness centre. Room was lovely and spacious and bed was really comfy. Bathroom had both a tub and a shower and was very clean - as expected. Food in the restaurant was delicious and there was plenty of choice for breakfast. "

"We recently had a one night stay here after our wedding. The hotel was very clean and we received a warm welcome when we arrived. Check in was very quick and with no fuss. The room was huge! And was a very comfortable stay. Lovely biscuits on the tea tray in the room. It was all very clean. We didn't have the breakfast or use any of the spa facilities so can't comment on those aspects of the hotel."

"This is an excellent pub. The service was exceptional, the food was very good and the ambience and atmosphere fantastic. This is a characterful old building with lots of books and crannies. Good beer too. The accommodation is good - a little like motel accommodation at the back of the pub in separate purpose-built buildings. It was comfortable and suited our needs well. Would definitely return. "
