"Yeah, you have a beautiful view onto the Mekhong River and the Laos mountains, but it’s difficult to believe that this hotel is only 5 years old. Its design and choice of building materials make it look more like vintage 1970’s to 1990’s, and it’s condition (especially bathrooms) is already bad. The worst, however, are the mattresses. It might be equally comfortable to sleep on the floor as on the “hard-like-a-brick” bed. Would definitely not stay here again if/when coming to Nakhon Phanom again...

"Fantastic stay at the Hop Inn. A little bit away from the centre but The Loft bar/restaurant and Tesco Lotus are only 5 minutes walk away. New hotel. No need for a westerner to stay anywhere else. Manager is great to talk to and he speaks perfect English. Free coffee machine from 6am to 11am. Loved the cappacino. Loved our stay."

"Charming colonial building on the central square. Nice cafe downstairs. Good coffee. Balcony is a plus. A quirky touch was that ask customers to remove shoes and leave them in the lobby. Wish i could have had a water boiler in the room. Authentic old building with squeaky floor"
