"It was a lovely room in a charming boutique hotel. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable and gave us a lot of recommendations. The first day we were offered a complimentary sunset boat ride on the Mekong, which was very romantic and peaceful. I would stay here again!"

"Located right on the river, this hotel has excellent views and easy access to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was phenomenal and the setting was very scenic. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Now, not all reviews can be perfect so if I had one complaint, it would be that the water pressure in the shower could be slightly better, but as it was, it was fine."

"a lovely property with the most amazing staff especially the manager Mr Peehann. Start with the property which was lovely, comfortable and clean with decent sized rooms. The hotel prepared a breakfast each morning with eggs but local pho was available. Additionally the coffee saffron was excellent. "The hotel is about 5 minutes, on bicycle provided by the hotel, away from the old town centre which is in itself the cultural heartland of Laos. The hotel is nestled in lush tropical vegetation. Given its age the hotel has been maintained to a very high standard and oozes old world charm. The staff are all very helpful and the food is excellent - try the Lao omelette for breakfast."

"Great heritage buildings in normally good location. Staff very good. But major works on the river are noisy and the traffic and noise around 530 am for monks alms is considerable. Rooms need facilities upgrading but tough in heritage site. We did enjoy the hotel and things of issue beyond their control mainly."

"Our host was one of the most accommodating that I have had anywhere in my travels. The property is absolutely spotless and the rooms are large with a very clean bathroom. The same host was able to book us transportation to the nearby waterfalls on very short notice. Our breakfast was amazing as well."

"It was very quite there. 50 meters from the night mkt in one direction and 50 meters from the morning mkt in the other. Friendly staff and very, very clean. Excellent value for money. "

"My friend and I needed a place to stay for two days until our flight. This guesthouse was very comfortable with two twin beds, en suite, dresser, tv, fridge and ac to use as required. Price was very reasonable. Yard and hotel very picturesque , beautiful woodwork throughout. And very friendly and helpful people. I loved it and would come back . "
