"I had heard so many great things about Luang Prabang, I wanted to check it out. My stay at the Pha Nya Residence was outstanding. Check in was easy, the staff was so very friendly, and the location was great. The breakfast was also very good - try the Northern Lao soup. It was great and I had it every day."

"a lovely property with the most amazing staff especially the manager Mr Peehann. Start with the property which was lovely, comfortable and clean with decent sized rooms. The hotel prepared a breakfast each morning with eggs but local pho was available. Additionally the coffee saffron was excellent. "Our host was one of the most accommodating that I have had anywhere in my travels. The property is absolutely spotless and the rooms are large with a very clean bathroom. The same host was able to book us transportation to the nearby waterfalls on very short notice. Our breakfast was amazing as well."

"Such a lovely place to Stay. On south bank of river away from centre so super quiet. Bit of a problem until river works finish next month as no bamboo bridge. This normally makes 10 walk in to centre. At moment its 30 mins using the old bridge or a boat service that does save much time.. Great breakfast..Nice residental area."

"Colonial style hotel with refreshing swimming pool, outdoor restaurant w good food & buffet breakfast. About a 10 minute walk to night market The staff are accommodating & helpful. The bar is nice and well stocked. The rooms have good water pressure and are clean . Overall a pleasant stay at Villa Malay but our room had limitations for electrical & soundproofing I’m sure not every room is the same as this is a popular hotel . Thank you to the staff for making it a nice stay. "

"Hotel is beautiful and clean, beds are good and so is shower. Breakfast buffet is excellent, they do a fanstastic job. Cleaning staff takes a while to get things picked up, but eventually it happens. Definitely nice hotel for the price in great location. 15 minute walk to markets"

Nice Hotel

"The concierge and staff were friendly. They helped us book a taxi service to get to places. We could easily rent bikes to go to the night market or other areas in town. Would recommend this place! Rooms were nice and clean. One issue though, our shower drain took long to drain so there is a tendency to flood. I hope this is only an issue for our room. (A03) Breakfast selection was great too!"
