"This hotel is a dump like no other. Having booked a superior room I was given a basic room in the basement with no window. Upon complaining, I was sent to a second room which was also basic and windowless. Finally, I got a "superior" room as in the published pictures but it was half-buried (see picture). I stopped complaining except that after a few hours I had to move to another superior room dungeon because the aircon was not working properly. How can Hotels.com possibly send their...

"This is an old property but appears they are attempting to make some needed upgrades. At night the hotel has no lights or signage if you are on the beach trying to remember where the hotel is. Overall an adequate, clean place and helpful staff. As usual for South America, many families so don’t expect an adults only experience."
