"We had a quick family trip (2 adults 3 kids) up to the mountains and decided to stay at forest park despite some mixed reviews. For us, it was a great trip! I suggest embracing this hotel for what it is: an ageing giant with really dedicating staff and clean rooms. We were in adjoining rooms 716 and 717. Our rooms were warm, clean and comfy. Dated a bit? "Right from check in [it was earlier than stated], the staff couldn't be more helpful. The receptionist escorted us to our room and made everything was OK before she left. We only booked bed and breakfast but the dining staff were quickly on hand to help out and especially for those that have mobility problems taking food to the tables for them. The only gripe I would have at breakfast is the hot food wasn't hot and only warm. The cleaning staff were busy all day making sure the hotel was clean...
