"I booked this trip 10 months in advance based solely on its high rating, without reading any reviews. As the date approached, I finally started looking through them—and I’ll be honest, the negative feedback had me seriously considering changing our accommodations. I’m so glad I didn’t. The property was absolutely stunning, and the staff went above and beyond—truly exceptional service. While the food wasn’t five-star gourmet, it was far from the awful descriptions I’d seen; everything we had was enjoyable. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and didn’t feel outdated in the slightest. I’m genuinely surprised by the number of negative reviews this resort has received. Dreams Playa Bonita exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. My only minor complaint is that the room curtains aren’t blackout, so the sunlight comes in fairly early. If you’re a light sleeper or like to sleep in, I’d recommend bringing an eye mask. Without a doubt, I’d stay here again."

"Upon arrival the staff were helpful and pleasant. Front desk spoke both spanish and english and were very effecient. 2 min walk to supermarket and mall. Cafe and restaurants in the hotel. "

The staff were amazing, the room was clean, the housekeeping was always on time and helpful, just a wonderful experience for me and my 3 kids. We were on the club floor which was an extra special experience. These folks know what they are doing, STAY HERE! "
