"We had a great experience at Lanzarote Barcelo Active Resort. Lots of fun activities for the kids. Close to airport and beaches. Big rooms. Good food options in buffet. Would have liked more vegetarian main course options. One suggestion to have separation between vegetarian and non-vegetarian to avoid cross contamination. Lanzarote is a beautiful island to visit. "This is probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Plenty of space and hotel never felt full. Plenty of sunbeds ( no getting up at ridiculous times) and the food ( half board) was excellent value for money. Hotel is mainly filled with 50 age group but if you want a week in the sun, very chilled quiet and relaxed this is a superb choice. "

"The photos for this property do not do it justify. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment with sea view and balcony. The whole apartment was immaculate. The views are amazing, you can see the sunrise from your bed. The communication was great and the staff were alwaya there to assist and checking everything was ok. We hired a car and took the option of using the parking available for an additional fee. We will be back "

Great location as long as you donot want to be in the thick of lively entertainment, but its about 20 mins away, on foot. Lovely views on to small rocky beach from the evening bar. Mainteance shows its age in a very few areas eg leaking air conditioning. We would definitely go back. On balance excellent value for money."
