"The staff at the hotel are lovely and it is in a very convenient central location. There is also transport to the airport provided (for a fee). The bar is open late and breakfast was tasty. The room we stayed in was nice, the bed was a bit hard and shower pressure was good but the temperature was inconsistent. Overall it was a good stay. "

"I stayed in a single room on the 3rd floor. It was very clean and a good size for me. The staff were friendly and helpful. One male receptionist was a bit gruff when giving me directions though. Only a 10 minute walk to the Leaning Tower. Restaurant is open from 8-930pm for dinner and the 8am seating was often full. You can eat from a limited menu at the bar which is open until midnight. "Hotel easily accessible from rd links with secure parking. After initial mix up telling us no booking held reception found our reservation and room was good. Easy walk from hotel to centre of Lucca enough restaurants nearby to use. Room cleaned /laundry everyday if u wanted it. Coffee Tea facilities in room would be useful for this grade of hotel (whilst available in reception area for a charge not everyone wants to mix with other guests)"

"We had an amazing holiday at Hotel Hambros. The staff, the pool, the location, the breakfast and restaurant. Guido and Stefania at the front of house went above and beyond to help us and Susan by the pool was a ray of sunshine every day and couldn’t do enough for us. If we had any type of problem or question or concern everyone was quick to be of service to us and help us out. No problem was to big and we were made to feel so welcome. We will definitely be coming back again. "
