"Super location, older character style properly right on the main square. Very helpful stuff. However rooms are dated and beds uncomfortable. We booked superior room which was very basic. I can only imagine what standard rooms are like. Toilet and bathroom are separate across the room which was not good having to go across to wash your hands after using toilet facility. "Having the restaurant closed and the hotel locked when we arrived at 6:30 pm was a bit of a pain. We couldn’t get an answer from the number on the door and were about to leave and find another hotel when I found another number in my email that got a response. The place was fine otherwise."

We were on our way to our wedding and despite the fact that we told them so, they never congratulated (we were even wearing wedding t-shirts) and gave us a room facing a massive pipe. Terrible. We wished we chosen a different place that would have made more effort to make our wedding trip more special."

"The personal welcome was excellent and friendly. I called when I arrived and was guided into the secure parking in a nearby courtyard. The room was very clean. The location was very easy walking distance to the central street through town. Marie Cecile had clear guidance for restaurants, how to hike up to the castles, etc. Note: The beds are very firm. Note: If you have sensitive ears, it is next to the church, so..... church bells. The breakfast was generous, including home-squeezed juice...
