"We stayed at Crowne Plaza Venice East for one night to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. I specifically chose this hotel because it was very close to a train station that we could use to get us from Venice islands to the hotel. The Crowne Plaza also has an airport shuttle. However, the airport shuttle hours don't start until 5:00 am. We needed to leave before then, so we had to use a taxi. Taxi to the airport was 45 euro and about a 15 minute drive. Our bathroom was...

The room was a bit smaller than I am used to, but the bed was comfortable and furnishings adequate, and I was especially rateful to be assigned a room with a bathtub, as requested upon check-in.
