The trouble with the DoubleTree is that it tries to be a 5-star hotel, but the parking lot is terrible, the breakfast food was late and cold, and unit furniture and carpeting was very old an doutdated; not near enough electrical outlets. It's a good 4 star."

"What a gem! The mansions on 5th was an excellent surprise. This area of Pittsburgh is gorgeous. We were touring Carnegie Mellon and were able to easily walk over to the campus tour. Rooms are updated, clean and comfortable. beds were extremely comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating. If my daughter ends up at Carnegie Mellon, we will be back!"
