"Nice place. Golf course wasn't open which we didn't know about (Expedia doesn't say anything) luckily we weren't there for the golf club. Seems to be just a retirement village style accommodation but served us well. The restaurant on the property was great (the kids club/room needed a good clean and Toy overhaul) and the food was decent. "Waratah on York is the perfect place to stay if you like old world charm with the convenience of a contemporary bathroom. The staff were supper helpful with suggestions on where to find a delicious meal or tourist attractions. As mentioned in previous reviews, the outside and inside steps may be a challenge for elderly or disabled guests but there are rooms downstairs so be sure to mention any medical conditions on booking and I am sure Pia will be happy to assist you.
