If you need private room, you need to book a higher end room. Only setback is the train station is about 15min walk away. Not great if you have too many luggage to carry. "

"The property is generally clean but just that there's some unsightly brownish areas at the base of the bath tub. Food and service are good. Just a note for people with walking disability - the rooms are located along the slope, hence have to take note of this. "

"Bettei Haruki is unique having only 6 spacious Japanese rooms. We loved their two gorgeous Onsen rooms which were perfect in every detail - will never forget these onsens and will miss them dearly. We had their omasake dinner menu which was served with much care. Well done Bettei Haruki management. "
