"A great hotel, where staff worked well as a team to make us feel welcome and ensure we were comfortable during our stay. The hotel is in a lovely setting, on the main road but at one end, so that you are close to everything, but at the same time, feel like you are tucked into a quiet corner of the town when you are ready to wind down. The restaurant was fantastic and the decor was so lovely. Great job, team Ivory Haus! I recommend this hotel! "

"Absolutely stellar 5 star service. Received a free room upgrade which was a beautiful family suite that was very spacious and clean. Lovely porch with chairs and a nice fire to sit by with other guests, if you choose. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. You can choose to eat at their restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had a lovely breakfast on the rooftop that had a beautiful view of the ocean. "We stayed at Hogs Hollow for two nights whilst driving the garden route and we loved our stay. Our room - no 17 (or rather suite) was stunning. "In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. Poor conditions somewhat compensated for by the first class and much appreciated service from Petrus and some of his staff -especially chef and Thabisa."

"We had bats living in our roof, apparently knowingly by the owner (they built a house for them on the near cabin and they migrated to ours). We had to go to bed and sleep with constraint scratching and sliding noises, that was terrible. When we brought it to the attention of the team, they didn’t even bother apologising. The dinning experience over dinner and breakfast was terrible - worst service I’ve seen for a while and average food (it’s quite expensive considering its surroundings). Stay...
