"This is a harder review to make in my 71-country visits. Arriving at the hotel, I was buzzed-in to the property's foyer only to discover I would need to use the lift to go one floor up to reception. I was happily-greeted by two very pleasant reception staff who expedited my check-in & took me to my room, showing each area. Room is spacious enough and modern, but with a local/maritime touch on the decor. Breakfast is excellent: you get the continental options + separate menu with items that are cooked for you by the virtuoso lady right there. Unfortunately, they closed their restaurant a few years ago but you can get light meals for lunch and dinner (for the latter, lasagna or melanzane...

"Arrived at the hotel for a wedding celebration only to be informed that our room has been mistakenly allocated to another party. Was allocated a suite for one night and given two rooms for the next night. Breakfast was ok, staff was friendly. Lack of amenities (iron only available on request, was informed only 3 irons in the hotel) no ironing board, had to use the bed. Some rooms had complementary guest slippers, so I had to go around to ask other wedding guest if I could use there’s ( none...

"Fantastic location, room and staff! Room was clean and quiet, well decorated and a great location. Beautiful grounds and the staff was always helpful when we had questions. Checked in late, but they still served us dinner in the restaurant. Good food too. Good breakfast in the morning. Wonderful stay. Would stay there again in the future."

"Very nice, modern, clean, quiet, hotel and room. Ours was ground floor looking over the pool with sliding doors (one way privacy glass). The restaurant is ok but a bit limited if you don't want fish. It was also closed one night we were there. Otherwise it is a drive/taxi into lovely Pula where there are lots of options. Also a very good location for the beaches in the area - particularly around Chia."
