"The hotel is a short walk to the centre located next to the canal. Check in was very good. The bed is very comfortable and rooms are modern. On the downside the room to room isolation is light. We could hear the upstairs neigbour in her heels and the neighbour on the right talking loudly on his phone in the evening (maybe a female voice does not carry over as much…). "The hotel was very pleasant, rooms were good and clean. The breakfast was nice as well. For some reason the pool area had a roper across to stop people accessing even though everyone was still using it. There wasn't very much nearly so was a bit of a walk to get to restaurants etc. We paid for spa access, didn't realise we needed a swim hat so had to purchase them at reception. The spa was okay but not the best standards - a little 'thrown together' with broken shower trays and the hot tub...
