"Gorgeous hotel with ample amounts of charm. The location is excellent for exploring Tuscany and Florence. It has every bit the look and feel of a five star hotel that costs hundreds of dollars more. That being said, it lacks the touches of a true luxury hotel. Bath amenities were scarce (no conditioner, bath wash, or wash cloths provided and the hair dryer was one you would find in a cheap motel) the lack of power outlets also made the room challenging. "Lovely large rustic traditional rooms in stunning Tuscan countryside setting. Handy location for visiting the many local historic villages & towns of the area. Excellent breakfast with a large variety of choices & will cook eggs to your order. Lovely swimming pool in the grounds & on-site restaurant. The added benefit was that our 2no dogs were allowed to stay in the hotel"

The pool was great for kids and although not part of the hotel it was around the corner and free to use. The breakfast was across the road in a bar and whilst it was nice there was not a menu to choose from as such but rather you ask for a pastry or two from the selection at the bar which for me is not really what I want from a hotel breakfast but others might be...

"The people at the reception desk were so very friendly and helpful! We even had someone walk us to our room which was very spacious and clean. Our only complaint was about the town. Limited availability for breakfast in the morning and any chance for food if you missed the lunch hours. "
