"Pros: clean and quiet, friendly staff, good breakfast, easy to get around when travelling by car. Minor inconvenience: our bathroom was setup for handicapped people and we had to put towels around the shower doors to avoid flooding."

The pool was great for kids and although not part of the hotel it was around the corner and free to use. The breakfast was across the road in a bar and whilst it was nice there was not a menu to choose from as such but rather you ask for a pastry or two from the selection at the bar which for me is not really what I want from a hotel breakfast but others might be...

"The people at the reception desk were so very friendly and helpful! We even had someone walk us to our room which was very spacious and clean. Our only complaint was about the town. Limited availability for breakfast in the morning and any chance for food if you missed the lunch hours. "

"The apartment is in a castle in Certaldo Alta. You have a modern apartment but once you step out of the door you feel like nothing has changed since Boccaccio lived here. Great restaurants down the street. Dolce vita at its best. The family loved it."
