The weather was really hot, and an air con system on the upper sleeping area would have been useful, as the one on the middle floor didn’t cool upstairs. But a great stay, a nice outdoor pool, lovely check in staff. Apartment was really clean and modern, and the resort is a flat walking distance to the shops and restaurants. "This was the best overall place we stayed during our two months in New Zealand. Each room has a separate section of a huge balcony with stunning views, comfortable patio furniture. The room was large, comfortable, with large picture windows. The bathroom was large and modern with a great shower. "We truly appreciated the hospitality as they pointed us to a place to eat (with warnings that the kitchen would close soon) as well as a suggestion for kayaking. Phil also patiently bore us to the kayaking place when my daughter and I got turned around. They even allowed us a shower after kayaking and after our checkout time. The best part was they bore with us as we overstayed our check-out while trying to get on a new flight when our flight was canceled. Thank you for everything."
