"We spent 2 nights with another couple at the Hydro and loved it! They've updated an iconic property tastefully and kept as many Art Deco features as possible. The staff is excellent. If you're lucky enough to catch the Manager Marcus when he's not busy, he can share some incredibly interest history about the property. He seems to always be on site making sure things are running smoothly. 2 of us had the buffet breakfast which had plenty of choice and was replenished while we were there. Coffee...

"Our room was ready right on the check in time of 3pm. It would have been nice to check in earlier since the weather was miserable. We checked in at the sister hotel Lilianfels as there was no staff at our hotel. The room was tidy. The bathroom was so very very tight and tied, you could not fit more than one person in there. There is not enough parking on the premises especially of an evening which is very frustrating in wet weather."
