I'd recommend staying here only if you're looking for stillness and tranquility as it's a very off the beaten path location that's at least 20 mins from the city centre of Essaouira which is very charming but quiet too."

They were happy to accommodate us and the food was delicious. We had the panoramic room that had a lot of stairs to get to it but the views and privacy were great. "I stayed at Casa Lila for a week and had a wonderful time. I loved my room. Very nice breakfast (delicious fresh orange juice). Very nice terrasses. Great location. The staff is lovely and very helpful. I visited the in-house spa and hammam twice. It's not cheap but it was wonderful. I recommend whole heartedly this place and would visit again. "At my arrival I did smell some fresh paint, when I told the front desk about it in friendly way, I was told there is no smell, and you’re not supposed to smell it in a sarcastic way. What a great start at the front desk. Then the guy behind the desk gave the room keys to the bellman I followed him, the room was not ready. I went for a walk for few minutes without even a word. The checkout was great, very professional and with a smile. "
