"Solo traveler going through Europe for the first time. Not much was available in Innsbruck at the time so I booked just 10-15 minutes outside city in Rum. It was almost next door to a bus/tram/train terminal which was awesome and even better was you barely heard them going. Only two things I didn’t like (which is just personal) but it is very old school and no 24/7 reception. For example the door to your room is opened with a key, not a tap card. "I can't recommend Hotel Mondschein enough. It's ideally placed if you're in Innsbruck for the Christmas markets, with stunning views over the river and the Christkindlmarkt. The rooms are lovely and the breakfasts first rate, but by far the best thing about it is the staff. They're all so friendly and helpful. We stay at the Mondschein every time we visit Innsbruck."
