"We received a warm welcome from Jason upon arrival who was friendly and provided useful information. We had booked a Superior Lake View room which was on the 3rd floor. The hotel is currently undergoing a refit but unfortunately our room had not yet received a rejuvenation and was quite dated, tired and definitely not superior. "Rotorua is such a fun place to visit. There are so many activities. The hotel is in the city center. Not much to do in the city (except Thursday evening food fair) but centrally located to other features…Redwood forest, thermal areas, gondola, ride, and biking. "
