"Very nice stay at the Clarion Admiral, which has a first class location across the harbour from the UNESCO world heritage Bryggen houses. Lovely views from the room. Bergen harbour area is easily walkable from the hotel. Rooms are modern and well-equipped. No parking on site however - public indoor parking several hundred meters from hotel."

"Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Giselda front of house in the Breakfast restaurant was so welcoming it made me feel at home it was amazing how she remembered my name, prety impressive with the number of residents staying there in the hotel. Gave me a lovely send off .Frederick at the bar was professional, hard working and knowledgeable. The Breakfast was amazing with the choice , quality considering how many residents they had staying. "We stayed overnight on our way to board Havilla Ferry. The rooms were compact , but all we were looking for was a place to sleep and recover from jet lag. The breakfast was amazing! We could walk easily to shops, restaurants, and places of interest."

"Lovely classy hotel in an excellent area. Everything was walkable, and breakfast was amazing. A la carte and buffet options available. The room was elegant and cosy. It was my Wife's 50th birthday just before we stayed, and the hotel put out some fudge and hand wrote a birthday message that I prepared, on a lovely post card, which my Wife has kept as a keepsake. I wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you Opus XVI for a wonderful stay."

"Excellent property. Great value. Some renos happening, but minimal noise and inconvenience. Very friendly staff. Great meals included in the price. I felt quite at home here as a solo traveller. I had a spacious twin room with bathtub and partial view of harbour and hillside houses. Charming. "

"The hotel was within walking distance of dining, shopping and the Funicular. The breakfast offered each morning had a broad selection of breads, meats, cheeses and many types of egg dishes. The beds were probably the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Have stayed at Moxy before and always the communal facilities, room was modern and clean. Booked a sea view room which had a disappointing view, would not have booked if I knew it was a first floor with obstructed view and not as advertised in the pictures "

"The hotel was great, no elevator to the 6th floor so I had to walk from 5th up the stairs. Which is fine except when I first arrived and the key card didn't work and I had to go back down again with luggage to correct it. Parking was also a bit distant considering rain"

"Good and clean place to stay"

"I had an excellent stay here. The apartment was very clean and tidy when I arrived and had all the conveniences one would need for an extended stay. It was out of the way of the high foot traffic areas but was a 6 minute walk to the city center. I would highly recommend it to others."
