"Excellent location, less than 10 minute walk from station and very central for shops. My room was not overlooking main street, no noise at all from outside, even though Friday night and room was lovely and warm with adjustable radiator. Bed comfy and bathroom modern with lovely shower. Nice tea and coffee tray with hot chocolate and biscuits. "I could not check-in using the electronic link I was sent. The check-in staff were very good, but there was a long wait at the bar on Saturday evening as there was no one staffing it, when he did arrive there were no apologies given. There were some parts of the hotel which seemed a little tired, the bathroom we had and the carpets in the corridors and on the stairs in particular. "
