I like having the bus terminal right around the corner from the hotel which provided us an easy bus ride back to Hong Kong. The shopping centre is close by too. "I had a great visit while staying in China at Deer Hill Hotel. The only thing not good was that my room smelt of stale cigarettes. Otherwise the place was clean, staff were really good, food was so nice and the room itself was comfortable. Comfy bed too."
