"Nice hotel with comfortable beds. We had issues with our first room as it smelt of stale tobacco. We also had issues with our room key. Would not work and we had to revisit reception. On check out they waived our parking fee as a bit of service recovery. Breakfast was good, with hot items."

"I feel obliged to give this hotel a good review even though I checked out early, simply because the staff here is truly outstanding. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the air conditioning during a heatwave, and the room was unbearably hot. However, the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout, and allowed me to check out early with a partial refund. I would not hesitate to come back here during the spring or fall when air conditioning would not be an issue."

The young woman at reception was lovely, even called for me to make an appointment for a haircut. The manager of the bar and restaurant is a hardworking young man, so pleasant and helpful.
