"I loved staying at The Dunvegan. First of all, the staff was outstanding. They were friendly and responsive. The hotel was clean, and my room was kept in prime condition. The breakfasts were yummy, and one night I ate in and the fish and chips were the best I've had. The hotel was central, so I could walk everywhere with ease. If I return to St. Andrews, The Dunvegan will be my first choice of where to stay. Thank you!"

"Small rooms with a good shower. Guest house is unmanned and had to go to nearby hotel to pay for the stay. The grap-and-go breakfast was a few bars, but there are plenty of great places nearby serving breakfast. "

"We had a lovely stay at The Bank. Room was at the back with a cracking view and was nice and quiet. Breakfast was amazing too, I had smoked haddock both days. Only gave 3 stars for condition as bathroom door handle was loose, shower head was loose and fell down in the holder and there was only one hand towel. Long haired folks need a separate towel for their hair. Apart from this the room was spotless. Tea, coffee and water provided, will definitely stay again."

"The spindrift guest house is excellent you get met at the door by the hosts Mark and Jeni, who make you feel so welcome like your part of the family. They show you around the breakfast room and the lounge . The rooms are big and comfy thw whole place is spotless. Breakfast is amazing and you pick what you want from a changing menu daily which is finished off with homade loaf from Jeni we had banana loaf this morning which was still warm. "Cannot fault this hotel. From check in to check out all of the staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience was relaxing with amazing views over the golf course and the sea beyond. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable, slept like a log. The food in the restaurant was good value, cooked fresh and was well presented - delicious. "
