"Wow,where do i start,great pub/restaurant,staff where amazing,food was awesome and would recommend it to everyone,staff were truly amazing,polite and made me smile,especially Tracy who recommended that i should have four meat roast and i said two meat would be ample who which it was,would definitely stay there again and already planning next trip to there,every member of staff go above and beyond and made our trip there even more memorable,thank you "

"A very nice and friendly pub, with great staff. There is a handy Co-op right next door if you need anything, and there is adequate parking. The food in the restaurant is really good. I recommend the steak and ale pie. Service is excellent. The room was clean and tidy, with a good breakfast selection included in the price. We have stayed before, and will likely stay again. "

"My husband and I stayed in room 6 which is rather special. It is a huge room with a lovely oval bath in the bedroom and separate shower and WC with two hand basins. There was also a desk and chair and comfy leather sofa and a TV. The chandeliers and large mirrors added a bit of glamour. We ate at the pub on our first night and enjoyed our meal and the service. "The situation was excellent, the staff were excellent but the property was very tired and in dire need of redecoration. The garden areas in the lodge where we were staying were largely overgown and uncared for which was a shame. The staff were excellent and very helpful. With investment, this could be a 4/5 star hotel given its location. Presently, it is 2/3 star at best."
