"Stayed for two nights at The Stratford Apartments. On the good side, it was spacious and had a good size shower. The beds and furniture were all comfortable. On the down side it smelt really quite damp and there were some amazing cobwebs in the bathroom. Great for short stays, location was excellent. It suited our needs but wouldn't like to stay longer. "the property looked clean and the bed was comfortable. however the lack of internet connection through the wi-fi was a great inconvenience. there was no national tv service except using one's won netflex log-in. I guess this is because there is no tv licence covering the premises. there was a good 30 min walk to the town centre, no 10 min as stated. overall the property was comfortable but inconvenient in the above mentioned. "The apartment was very well situated in the centre of the town and quite well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay there. It is NOT, however, for anyone with restricted mobility. Access is via a steep set of steps to get to the property, and then you have to climb another set of stairs to get into the bed (which is the weirdest thing about the apartment). Parking is in the main car park a few hundred metres away and you have to understand the peculiarities of the long stay versus short stay:...

"Donna was a great host! Responded very quickly, and the check-in instructions were very detailed and helpful. The place was very clean and well stocked; a small kitchen with all the items you’d need, and the bathroom was very clean and well presented. I would definitely recommend, so lucky to have found this little treasure."

There for a family gathering having lived in Long Melford for a few years previously The cottage was warm, welcoming and beautifully equipped, set with with the stunning backdrop of Long Melford church and a stones throw from a great gastro pub."
