"We had booked here because it had EV charging points and a restaurant, and looked like a pleasant setting. We arrived to discover that the EV chargers were Tesla only, and the restaurant was closed. We'd just driven 400 miles, so were not pleased. After a lot of complaining and phone calls by the receptionist, it emerged that the chargers could be used with any EV (officially from October), and we were offered a rather simple (although expensive) meal in our room - a lentil and vegetable dahl...

"This property was charming and the staff were all so friendly and attentive! Room was spacious and I do love how the French separate the toilet from the bedroom and shower room! I just wish the tv had more English channels but we did not come there to watch TV anyway! And the hotel was walking distance to small shops and other restaurants. I would definitely stay here again! "We really enjoyed our stay at this villa. The room was simple but well appointed. Clean and very comfortable. The villa is located in a hill within the trees above the river. Very quiet and peaceful. The attached restaurant was excellent, but was only serving one of the nights we were there because they were hosting a wedding on the weekend. "This hotel is a short walk from downtown Sarlat. Street parking was near-by and easy to find. Our room was a Standard but was luxuriously enormous with great amenities, and a very comfy bed. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, even going to far as to ship back an item I'd left in the room. "

People at reception were unfriendly, refused to speak English and were unable to recommend a quality restaurant in Sarlot. Nice pool, good breakfast. Entrance off main road precarious.
